W Kuwejcie palenie tytoniu nadal stanowi poważne wyzwanie dla zdrowia publicznego. Według danych z 2022 roku, odsetek dorosłych palących tytoń w wieku 15 lat i więcej wynosił 22,7%, przy znaczącej różnicy między płciami: paliło 35,6% mężczyzn i 2,1% kobiet. Oznacza to niewielki wzrost w porównaniu z 2020 rokiem, kiedy odsetek palących mężczyzn wynosił 33,9%, a kobiet 2,3%.
