Okrężnik rządowy z 2014 roku (nr 001/14 Sor.Nor.No.NACD) wydany przez Krajowy Urząd ds. Zwalczania Narkotyków wprowadza zakaz sprzedaży, importu i używania e-papierosów. Dokument nakazuje wszystkim władzom „zakończyć wszelkie formy konsumpcji i sprzedaży shishy oraz e-papierosów poprzez konfiskatę tych zabronionych produktów” oraz „zakończyć i powstrzymać wszelkie rodzaje sprzedaży i importu”. Zgodnie z oficjalnymi przepisami wszystkie e-papierosy znalezione przez służby będą konfiskowane niezależnie od okoliczności. Jednak według relacji podróżnych, nie napotkali oni problemów z wwozem e-papierosów do kraju na własny użytek, a korzystanie z nich w wyznaczonych miejscach do palenia wydaje się akceptowane.
