W Haiti odsetek osób palących tytoń w wieku 15 lat i starszych w 2022 roku wynosił według Światowej Organizacji Zdrowia (WHO) 7,3%. Oznacza to niewielki wzrost w porównaniu do 6,9% odnotowanych w 2020 roku, ale spadek względem 8,5% z 2019 roku. Częstość palenia była znacząco wyższa wśród mężczyzn i w 2022 roku wynosiła 12,6%, podczas gdy wśród kobiet zaledwie 2,3%. Ta różnica między płciami utrzymywała się na przestrzeni lat — w 2020 roku wskaźnik dla mężczyzn wynosił 11,2%, a w 2019 roku 13,5%. Liczbę palaczy w 2022 roku oszacowano na około 564 796 osób, co stanowi wzrost w porównaniu do 515 117 palaczy w 2020 roku, ale jednocześnie spadek wobec 631 176 osób palących w 2019 roku.
