W Boliwii, według szacunków na rok 2022, odsetek dorosłych palących tytoń w wieku 15 lat i starszych wynosił 12,2%, przy wyraźnej różnicy między płciami: paliło 20,4% mężczyzn i 4,1% kobiet. Oznacza to niewielki spadek w porównaniu z danymi z 2020 roku, kiedy ogólna prevalencja wynosiła 13,2%, w tym 21,4% wśród mężczyzn i 5% wśród kobiet. Całkowita liczba osób palących w Boliwii w tym samym okresie wynosiła około 1 004 297. Jeśli chodzi o zgony związane z paleniem, dane z 2021 roku wskazują, że palenie przyczyniło się do 2,55% wszystkich zgonów w kraju, w tym do 3,32% zgonów wśród mężczyzn oraz 1,56% wśród kobiet.
