W Kirgistanie odsetek dorosłych palących tytoń w wieku 15 lat i więcej w 2022 roku szacowano na 25,8%, przy czym odnotowano wyraźną różnicę między płciami. Odsetek palących mężczyzn wynosił 50,1%, podczas gdy wśród kobiet było to 3,2%. Łączna liczba palaczy w kraju wynosiła około 1 141 934. Wskaźniki te wskazują na niewielki spadek w porównaniu z poprzednimi latami, kiedy częstość palenia utrzymywała się na poziomie 26,1% w 2020 roku i 26,6% w 2019 roku. Dla porównania, w 2017 roku codzienne palenie wśród dorosłych dotyczyło 20,6% populacji, w tym 39,5% mężczyzn i 2,7% kobiet.
