En Serbia, la legislación sobre publicidad (Gaceta Oficial de la República de Serbia, N.º 6/2016) impone restricciones a la publicidad, promoción y patrocinio de cigarrillos electrónicos, líquidos para cigarrillos electrónicos y sus componentes. En 2015, la Asamblea Nacional de la República de Serbia estableció un impuesto de 4 RSD (USD$0,04) por mililitro para todos los líquidos para cigarrillos electrónicos.
