Hasta marzo de 2025, se estimaba que el número de personas usuarias de productos de tabaco calentado (HTPs, por sus siglas en inglés) era de 312,000 individuos, lo que corresponde a una prevalencia del 4.1% entre la población adulta, con un 0.7% entre las mujeres y un 3.4% entre los hombres. En Jordania, los productos de tabaco calentado son legales y están regulados como productos de tabaco. Su venta y compra están permitidas, y es legal importar el producto con fines comerciales, lo que también implica la posibilidad de importación para uso personal, aunque no existe una fuente específica que lo confirme expresamente. Existen varias restricciones regulatorias: está prohibida la publicidad y el mercadeo de estos productos, que deben venderse en envases a prueba de niños y manipulaciones. Además, es obligatorio incluir advertencias sanitarias en el empaque y existen limitaciones respecto a los sabores disponibles. Asimismo, no se permite el uso de productos de tabaco calentado en lugares públicos. Estos productos están gravados como tabaco, con un impuesto especial de 3 dinares jordanos por cada 200 unidades.
