La prevalencia actual de vapeo en adultos se calculó en un 10.7% para 2024. En 2022, el 7.9% de las mujeres adultas y el 9.5% de los hombres adultos eran usuarios actuales de cigarrillos electrónicos. Alrededor de 2.1 millones de adultos vapeaban diariamente en 2020, con una prevalencia diaria estimada del 5.2% en 2022, siendo del 3.5% entre las mujeres y del 6.4% entre los hombres.
