In Macedonia, on May 2nd 2019, the President signed a decree formalising the adoption of the new Law on Tobacco which includes a separate category for Heated Tobacco Products and e-cigarettes, and requires different health warning for this category versus cigarettes. No health warnings are required on e-cigarette devices. 'Smoking' is defined as the use of a combustible tobacco product. Pre-market notification for Heated Tobacco Products and pre-market approval for e-cigarettes will be required.
