Lithuania abides by the EU Tobacco Products Directive (TPD) (2014). E-cigarettes are classified as tobacco related products and are regulated by the Tobacco, Tobacco Products and Related Products Control Law 2016. Vaping is prohibited wherever smoking is prohibited. Cross-border distance sales of e-cigarette are prohibited. Sales of e-cigarettes to, or on behalf of, minors (under 18 years) are prohibited, as is the possession and use of e-cigarettes by minors. Advertising, promotion and sponsorship of e-cigarettes are banned in most venues and media.
