In Saint Kitts and Nevis, smoking is allowed and cigarettes can be sold, purchased online and through vending machines. However, there is an outright ban on all forms of tobacco advertising. There is no excise tax on cigarettes, but the total taxation rate is 19.76%. Health warnings on cigarette packaging are not required, there are no minimum age restrictions on sales, and there are no legal restrictions on smoking in public places.
In terms of statistics and health impact, there were about 5,000 current smokers in Saint Kitts and Nevis as of 2024, but the prevalence data are missing.
