In Jordan, e-cigarettes are legally allowed and regulated, with some restrictions on their use and advertising. While the import, sale, and online purchase of both e-cigarette devices and nicotine are permitted, its advertising is banned. Moreover, vaping is prohibited in public indoor places, and purchasing e-cigarettes without a prescription is not allowed. Despite these regulations, vaping products are marketed in the country.
In terms of vaping prevalence, Jordan had approximately 683,300 vapers as of 2020, with an adult vaping prevalence of 10.3%. Among men, 16.5% were current e-cigarette users, while the prevalence among women was significantly lower at 3.9%.
