Heated Tobacco Products (HTPs) are legally allowed in Denmark. They can be legally sold and used. Their online sales are also legal. However, the law requires health warnings on HTPs' packaging, and enforce restrictions on their flavours. Health claims for these products are not allowed.

Available data show that the number of HTP users in Denmark show flactuations over recent yerars. In 2024, an estimated 48,721 adults in Denmark were current HTP users, representing 1% of the adult population. This shows a slight increase from 43,000 HTP users in 2018 (0.9%). Daily use of HTPs among adults shows also a slight increase, from 0.1% in 2020 to 0.3% in 2023.
