Закон 2012 года «О внесении изменений в некоторые законы Украины по совершенствованию отдельных положений о ограничении мест для курения» приравнивает электронные сигареты к табачным изделиям и запрещает их использование в ряде общественных мест и в общественном транспорте, за исключением специально отведённых зон.
