Электронные сигареты в Польше легальны и регулируются обширными нормативными актами. Согласно этим правилам, продажа электронных сигарет несовершеннолетним до 18 лет запрещена, а также обязательны нотификация продукции, упаковка, защищённая от детей, и наличие предупреждений о вреде для здоровья на упаковке. Запретов на вкусовые добавки нет, но содержание никотина ограничено 20 мг/мл, существуют ограничения на объём заправочного бака. Использование электронных сигарет в общественных местах также ограничено действующим законодательством. Электронные сигареты можно приобрести как онлайн, так и в обычных розничных магазинах, однако продажа через торговые автоматы не разрешена. Заявления о пользе для здоровья запрещены, действует полный запрет на рекламу. На электронные сигареты распространяется акциз, составляющий 10% от ставки на традиционные сигареты. В 2023 году в Польше насчитывалось примерно 1,3 миллиона людей, которые в настоящее время пользуются вэйпами, а распространённость использования электронных сигарет среди взрослых составила 4%. Доля взрослых, ежедневно использующих вэйпы, в том же году была 2,4%. Среди женщин этот показатель составил 0,4%, среди мужчин — 1,5%. Для сравнения, в 2017 году 13% населения сообщали, что хотя бы раз пробовали вэйпинг. Что касается восприятия рисков, связанных с электронными сигаретами, в 2017 году 56% людей считали, что электронные сигареты наносят столько же вреда или больше, чем курение, 28% были уверены, что они менее вредны, а 16% не имели на этот счёт мнения.
