В Пакистане разрешено использование препаратов никотинозаместительной терапии (НЗТ). Несмотря на то что продукты НЗТ не регулируются как лекарственные средства, их продажа и использование являются законными. Приобретать препараты НЗТ можно и без рецепта. Такие продукты могут продвигаться на рынке страны. Однако государственная поддержка для них отсутствует, поскольку они не включены в перечень жизненно необходимых лекарственных средств Пакистана.
