В Мьянме Никотин-заместительная терапия (НЗТ) запрещена законом, не регулируется как лекарственное средство и не включена в перечень жизненно необходимых лекарственных препаратов страны, поэтому продажа изделий НЗТ является незаконной. Остаётся неясным, разрешён ли ввоз подобных продуктов для личного использования, поэтому при их перевозке из-за границы рекомендуется иметь при себе рецепт или подтверждение покупки.
