В Эфиопии распространённость потребления табака среди взрослых в возрасте 15 лет и старше в 2024 году оценивается в 3,1%, при этом среди мужчин этот показатель составляет 5,3%, а среди женщин — 0,9%. Это свидетельствует о небольшом снижении по сравнению с 3,2% в 2020 году и 3,4% в 2019 году. Общее количество людей, которые курят табачные изделия, в 2024 году оценивалось примерно в 2,5 миллиона, что немного больше по сравнению с 2,1 миллиона в 2020 году.
