В настоящее время электронные сигареты запрещены в Брунее. По данным 2016 года, примерно 52 200 человек использовали электронные сигареты, что составляет 16,7% взрослых, регулярно употребляющих такие устройства. Распространённость использования среди мужчин была значительно выше (29,5%), чем среди женщин (4,3%). В том же году показатель ежедневного использования электронных сигарет среди взрослых составил 4,9% в целом, при этом среди мужчин — 9,1%, а среди женщин — 0,9%.
