W Niderlandach na wyroby tytoniowe podgrzewane mają zastosowanie przepisy artykułu 19 unijnej dyrektywy dotyczącej wyrobów tytoniowych, obejmujące nowe produkty tytoniowe. Regulacje te obejmują obowiązek składania sprawozdań, zgłoszeń oraz umieszczania ostrzeżeń zdrowotnych na opakowaniach.
