Codzienne używanie dotyczyło ogółem 0,7% dorosłych, w tym 1,2% mężczyzn. Produkt jest legalny i regulowany jako wyrób tytoniowy. Dopuszcza się również legalną sprzedaż, użytkowanie oraz zakup bezdymnych wyrobów tytoniowych online. Obowiązuje całkowity zakaz reklamy, a na opakowaniach wymagane są ostrzeżenia zdrowotne. Minimalny wiek uprawniający do zakupu to 18 lat.
