W Ugandzie terapia zastępcza nikotynowa (NRT) jest dozwolona; można legalnie używać, sprzedawać i kupować produkty NRT bez recepty. Chociaż nie są one regulowane jako produkty lecznicze, są dostępne w aptekach.
