W Tajlandii obowiązuje ustawowy zakaz sprzedaży podgrzewanych wyrobów tytoniowych (HTPs). Zgodnie z tymi przepisami nielegalny jest zarówno import tych produktów w celach handlowych, jak i na użytek własny, a także ich sprzedaż, reklama i promowanie. Kwestia używania podgrzewanych wyrobów tytoniowych w miejscach publicznych pozostaje jednak niejasna.
