La Ley de Tabaco de 2013, “que establece normas para limitar el uso del tabaco y los productos derivados del tabaco”, prohíbe la importación, distribución y venta de cigarrillos electrónicos. No existe legislación específica sobre el uso y la tenencia de cigarrillos electrónicos; sin embargo, hay una ley que prohíbe fumar en cualquier lugar público, y quienes infrinjan esta disposición pueden ser sancionados con prisión.
