Sin embargo, existen ciertas restricciones, como la prohibición de realizar afirmaciones sobre beneficios para la salud y la obligación de incluir advertencias sanitarias en el empaquetado. Cabe destacar que, según informó Tobacco Intelligence en el mismo año, en Pakistán no existen leyes específicas sobre las bolsitas de nicotina y estos productos se comercializan como artículos de consumo.
