En Israel, los cigarrillos electrónicos son legales y están regulados como productos de tabaco. Se permite la venta en línea de estos dispositivos, que también se encuentran disponibles en comercios generales. Tanto los dispositivos como los líquidos que contienen nicotina pueden adquirirse sin necesidad de receta médica. Sin embargo, está prohibida la venta de cigarrillos electrónicos a través de máquinas expendedoras. La publicidad y promoción están estrictamente prohibidas en todos los medios de comunicación, así como en los puntos de venta. Israel ha establecido un marco normativo integral para la fabricación y comercialización de cigarrillos electrónicos. Los fabricantes deben notificar a las autoridades sobre los nuevos productos antes de su ingreso al mercado. El empaquetado debe incluir advertencias sanitarias claras, y todos los envases deben ser a prueba de niños y manipulaciones. La venta está restringida a personas mayores de 18 años. Además, la concentración máxima permitida de nicotina es de 2 mg/ml, aunque no existen restricciones respecto a los sabores. El uso de cigarrillos electrónicos está legalmente limitado en ciertos lugares públicos.
