La terapia de reemplazo de nicotina (TRN) está prohibida por ley en Gambia, y sus productos no están regulados como medicamentos ni figuran en la lista de medicamentos esenciales del país. Por lo tanto, la venta de productos de TRN es ilegal. No está claro si estos productos pueden ser importados para uso personal, por lo que se recomienda conservar la receta médica o los comprobantes de compra.
