In Dominican Republic, Heated Tobacco Products (HTPs) are legal for sale and use. HTPs can be purchased from online channels and are also available in general retail stores. The law does not allow health benefit claims regarding these products, requires mandatory health warnings on their packaging, and imposes certain restrictions on their flavours. Notably, there is no excise tax on HTPs in Dominican Republic.
