Actualmente no existe una legislación específica sobre los cigarrillos electrónicos; por lo tanto, estos dispositivos son legales para su venta y uso en Belice, y en este momento no están sujetos a impuestos. Sin embargo, el Consejo Nacional para el Control del Abuso de Drogas de Belice (NADCC, por sus siglas en inglés) está elaborando desde 2018 una nueva Ley de Control del Tabaco que podría regular estrictamente la venta de productos de cigarrillos electrónicos, posiblemente restringir su uso en espacios públicos y aplicar un impuesto considerable al precio final de venta.
