В Чаде разрешено использование препаратов никотинозаместительной терапии (НЗТ), поэтому продажа таких продуктов законна, и их можно приобретать без рецепта. Хотя НЗТ не регулируются как лекарственные средства, они доступны в аптеках по всей стране. Государство не предоставляет финансовую поддержку для НЗТ, так как эти препараты не включены в перечень жизненно важных лекарств Чада.
