В Маршалловых Островах курение разрешено законом при определённых ограничениях. Продажа сигарет и их импорт для торговли легальны, но покупка через торговые автоматы или онлайн-запрещена. На упаковке обязательно наличие предупреждений о вреде для здоровья, а продажа разрешена только с 18 лет. Также действуют ограничения на курение в общественных местах. Совокупная ставка налогообложения на табачные изделия составляет 0,51. Несмотря на действующие меры контроля, распространённость курения среди взрослых составила 24,2% в 2024 году, причём показатель среди мужчин выше (43,4%), чем среди женщин (4%). Оценочное число людей, которые в настоящее время курят, составляет 6 000. Смертность, связанная с курением, достигает 58 случаев в год, что соответствует 13,01% всех случаев смерти в стране, причём влияние на мужчин (17,27%) значительно выше, чем на женщин (7,42%).
