Вейпинговую продукцию рекламируют, её можно приобрести как в интернете, так и в магазинах, согласно ряду онлайн-источников. Минимальный возраст для покупки составляет 18 лет, а также существует ряд ограничений на использование вейпов в общественных местах. Рекомендуется не использовать их, например, в образовательных учреждениях и медицинских организациях. Путешествующим также следует уточнить правила у авиакомпаний, прежде чем провозить вейпинговую продукцию для личного пользования. По данным последних исследований за 2017 год, в ОАЭ насчитывалось примерно 48 200 человек, которые курят с использованием электронных систем доставки никотина, что составляет 0,6% взрослого населения; среди женщин распространённость составляла 0,4%, среди мужчин — 0,8%.
