Podgrzewane wyroby tytoniowe są przez producentów zaliczane do bezdymnych produktów tytoniowych, dlatego na Malcie podlegają one Notyfikacji Prawnej nr 67, która zakazuje importu, produkcji oraz sprzedaży wszelkich bezdymnych wyrobów tytoniowych.
