The Global State of Tobacco Harm Reduction report, which maps for the first time the accessibility and consumption of safer nicotine products at the global, regional and national level had its UK debut on the 18 December 2018 during an event at the Parliament hosted by Viscount Ridley and Mark Pawsey MP (Chair of the APPG for Vaping) and well attended by a wide range of stakeholders.
The UK launch also coincided with the inaugural release of the GSTHR website which makes publicly available long-needed insight on the policies that affect the current regulatory status concerning SNP on a country basis, smoking prevalence and smoking-related mortality, measures of availability and use of SNP.
The GSTHR website is available at www.gsthr.org, where you will find a downloadable report in multiple formats (PDF, ePub and Mobi for e-book readers, and online/HTML), and an interactive section which generates global maps and has individual country profiles. There is also a short summary of the report available with translations in various languages. Although the report will be updated every two years, the website is updated regularly.
