Los cigarrillos electrónicos se clasifican como productos de tabaco; por lo tanto, la ley que regula los cigarrillos electrónicos es la Ley (QH13) sobre la prevención y el control de los daños causados por el tabaco (2012). Se informa que los cigarrillos electrónicos están ampliamente disponibles en las principales ciudades. Tanto fumar como vapear están prohibidos en espacios públicos y en el transporte público, salvo en las áreas designadas para fumar.
