Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) is allowed in Pakistan. Although NRT products are not regulated as medicinal products, it is legal to sell and use them. Purchasing NRT products without a prescription is also permitted. NRT products can be marketed in the country. However, there is no government support for these products, as they are not included on Pakistan’s essential drugs list.
