Traditional smokeless tobacco is allowed in the Democratic Republic of Congo and is regulated as a tobacco product. The use and sale of the product are legal, and it is also legal to purchase it online. However, there is a ban on all advertising of smokeless tobacco. Health warnings on packaging are required, and sales are restricted to individuals aged 18 and above.
